After winning the Alice Holt Giant Marble Run tender, Director of sister company Green Play Project, Simon Jackman worked with friend and engineer John Packer to develop a specialist machine to produce locally made, sustainably sourced wooden balls.

This led to the creation of The Wooden Ball Company, supplying high-quality, competitively priced balls designed specifically for giant marble runs. Based at our solar-powered workshop in the Mendips, south of Bristol, we provide expertise with a down-to-earth approach.
